A Global Initiative for EHS Awareness
Join the EHS Global Census
The EHS Global Census is a groundbreaking initiative by EFEIA to identify and support individuals experiencing Electrohypersensitivity (EHS) worldwide. This project aims to gather accurate, global data on EHS prevalence, symptoms, and impacts to help build awareness, inform policies, and drive scientific understanding. By giving a voice to those affected, we work toward a world that recognizes and accommodates EHS challenges.
A Functional Impairment, NOT an ilness
What is EHS?
Electrohypersensitivity (EHS) is a condition where individuals experience adverse health effects when exposed to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from sources like Wi-Fi, mobile devices, power lines, and electronics. While often misunderstood, EHS should not be considered an illness, but rather a functional disability in which an individual reacts to a highly contaminated electromagnetic environment. Symptoms can vary but commonly include headaches, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and cognitive difficulties.
The EHS Global Census seeks to shed light on this often-overlooked condition and its significant impact on daily life, aiming to foster recognition, understanding, and solutions to create safer environments for affected individuals.
Project Goals
The EHS Global Census is designed to:
- Quantify the prevalence of EHS worldwide.
- Identify common EHS symptoms, habits, and health triggers through a set of specialized surveys.
- Evaluate specific demographics such as professions (e.g., IT workers, healthcare providers), workers in EMF-intensive installations, and inhabitants of urban or industrial areas with high EMF exposure.
- Support advocacy and public policy changes for better recognition and accommodations for EHS-affected individuals.
- Advance scientific understanding of EHS through comprehensive data collection.
Participate in the Census
EFEIA Protocol for Individual Evaluation
We have developed four targeted forms to better understand EHS and its impact. You can participate by completing one or more of the following forms:
A. Multiple Habits and Sensitivities
B. 25 Common Symptoms of Potential EHS
C. Sleep Disorders
*Your participation is essential to building a robust global understanding of EHS. All responses are anonymous and contribute directly to EFEIA’s mission.
Why the EHS Global Census Matters
Electrohypersensitivity is often misunderstood, and those affected may struggle to find recognition and support. The EHS Global Census:
- Provides a global voice to individuals living with EHS.
- Evaluates key demographics, such as workers in EMF-intensive professions, people living in high-exposure environments, and other vulnerable populations.
- Informs medical professionals, policymakers, and researchers.
- Contributes to creating healthier, electromagnetically hygienic environments.
Project Updates and Impact
Current Progress
Over 5,000 participants worldwide have already contributed to the census.
Upcoming Milestones
The Global EHS Report compile findings from all four forms, with insights into symptoms, demographics, and environmental factors contributing to EHS.
Get Involved with the EHS Global Census

Your participation in the EHS Global Census is vital to advancing our understanding of electrohypersensitivity. By completing one or more of our targeted surveys, you contribute to a global effort to document and address the challenges faced by those with EHS. Each response helps us build a clearer picture of this condition and its impact on daily life.
We encourage you to share this initiative with friends, family, and colleagues who may be affected or interested in supporting our cause. Spreading the word is essential to reaching a broader audience and ensuring that EHS is recognized and addressed worldwide. Together, we can drive change and foster environments that accommodate everyone.
